Care Ministry

Walking Together Through Life’s Challenges

At Waypoint Community Church, we believe no one should walk through life’s challenges alone. Our Care Ministry exists to express Christ’s love through compassionate relationships, practical support, and spiritual encouragement.

Whether someone is facing illness, a difficult season, or everyday challenges, the Care Ministry seeks to ensure that individuals and families within our church community are known, supported, and cared for.

Our Vision

We envision a church family where no one walks alone in times of need, and where every person experiences Christ-centered care that brings stability, healing, and hope.

How We Care for One Another

In addition to Sunday classes, smaller groups may meet throughout the week to continue growing in faith and community.

Care Ministry provides loving support in many ways, including:
  • Meals and food coordination during illness or recovery
  • Hospital and home visits for encouragement and prayer
  • Transportation assistance when needed
  • Childcare or household help during difficult seasons
  • Financial assistance when approved through church processes
  • Cards, notes, and words of encouragement

These expressions of care help ensure that people are supported both practically and spiritually.

Relational Support

Often the most meaningful care begins through simple relationships. Members of the Care Ministry stay connected within the church community, helping to recognize both spoken and unspoken needs.

Through prayer, encouragement, and personal connection, the ministry seeks to walk alongside individuals and families with empathy, dignity, and confidentiality.

Spiritual Encouragement & Shepherding

In addition to Sunday classes, smaller groups may meet throughout the week to continue growing in faith and community.

Care Ministry also supports the spiritual well-being of our church family by:

  • Praying with individuals and families
  • Offering encouragement during difficult seasons
  • Helping connect people with pastors or ministry leaders when needed
  • Walking alongside people during life transitions

Our goal is not only to address immediate needs, but also to help people experience lasting encouragement and hope.

Request Care or Share a Need

If you or someone you know within the Waypoint Community Church family could benefit from support, we invite you to reach out. All requests are handled with care, discretion, and compassion.

A Community That Cares

Care Ministry reflects the heart of the church—to love one another as Christ loves us. Through prayer, encouragement, and practical support, we seek to be a community where people experience the presence of God through the care of His people.
